Our first talented Guest Designer for November is ....

Hi, I’m Chrissy from Napier New Zealand and delighted to be here as a guest designer. I’m a retired caregiver here in New Zealand and just loving life in my craft room. I started crafting 2012 by folding a piece of card in half, popping on a sticker, done, and so proud of it....and then learnt from there.. I have some eye problems now days and getting pretty hard to keep going, but as long as I can see something I will.. I make cards, journals, ATC’s tags, I have a go at anything, I love mixed media, but sometimes I'm just a bit too impatient to wait for things to dry and my cat Holly can be a bit of a distraction too.. you will probably find paw prints on some of my work..

Little bio on me:

Hi, I'm Jenn!  I am 54 years old and I live in central Massachusetts with my husband of 32 years, Jeremy. We have 2 grown children and 3 of the sweetest granddaughters in the world. We run a cannabis competition and vendor tradeshow called The Harvest Cup (Worcester, MA) once a year and it happens to be this weekend!  When I'm not working on my event, you can usually find me with my grandkids, in the kitchen cooking or baking, or in my craft room! My favorite craft projects are paper crafts like cards and tags. I have a bit of an addiction to stamps, Copics, and dies. I may or may not also have wayyyyyy too many colors of Lindy's Magicals but is that even possible, to have "too many"?  Thank you for the opportunity to be a guest designer, it was a lot of fun putting this tag together!  Details are on my blog!

I am very happy to be invited back to create on the Creative Artiste Mix Media Challenges blog as a guest designer for October. I have been passionate about art and creativity my whole life. I only discovered card making at the end of 2015 and since then I have been creating every day and loving every moment. I have made many creative friends along the way.
My style? I am interested in working with different materials and techniques, love stamps and die cutting. Thanks to the Creative Artiste blog, I have recently become passionate about mix media.

Our talented Guest Designer for September is ....

Annie

Hello, I'm Annie. 

I live in the Netherlands and I am married to Sjaak. We have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Because Sjaak and I are retired, we have plenty of time to look after our grandchildren and for our hobbies. The biggest hobby is making cards. I started doing that in 2003. In the years that followed I learned all kinds of new techniques. In mid-October 2021 I started mixed media, I really like this.

I have another hobby; that's diamond painting. I've been doing this since 2017.

Still, I don't sit in a chair all day. Every day Sjaak and I try to walk about 8 km. We also both play table tennis and participate in the Gelderse competition.
